Hi @tylerspears

Simple answer is that you can't.

The posts are integral part of the battery. They're not screwed into it.

If there's a problem with the posts themselves you need to replace the battery and dispose of it in a responsible manner

Why do you need to replace the posts?

@tylerspears, what year is your Outlander? The posts are usually part of the battery and cannot be replaced. You would need to replace the battery. What you can replace are the battery cables. The positive cable connects the battery to the starter motor and the car’s electrical system, while the negative cable connects the battery to a grounding point. Each cable attaches to the battery with a terminal end.

If those terminal ends need to be replaced, you remove the old ones (depending on how they are attached, you may have to cut them off) and then install new terminals. Again, the type of terminal you purchase determines how they attach to the battery cables. Most common replacements are of this type. Example only, not an endorsement of the seller.
